The purpose of RINLI is to educate the public about the role of horticulture, agriculture and good land stewardship in contributing to landscapes that create ecologically and economically sustainable communities.

RINLI has developed a strategic plan that identifies long-term goals, programs and establishes attainable benchmarks. This plan articulates a shared vision with the Rhode Island Nursery and Landscape Association (RINLA) for the development and implementation of programs that will increase capacity and contribute to the well-being of Rhode Island’s community and environment, including education at all levels K-12 and through higher education.
