Founded in 1919, the Rhode Island Nursery & Landscape Association will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2019. Victoria Wallace, a past president of RINLA and Associate Extension Educator at the University of Connecticut, will chair the 100th Anniversary Committee, which is planning events to celebrate this milestone.

In June 2017 RINLA and partners received Real Jobs planning and implementation grants to develop and register the first in the nation multi-employer registered apprenticeship program for agriculture and plant-based industry. We are pleased to announce that as of February 28, 2018, RINLA’s Multi-employer Registered Apprenticeship has been approved by the state’s Apprenticeship Council and is fully registered.
